At the beginning of March SII, a leading IT services company, was added to the list of Strategic Partners of UTC Fire & Security - the world leader in electronic security. Thus, a Polish company joined the group of global companies that have access to projects executed for UTC around the world.

The Gdansk team of Sii – one of the leader of IT services, was enlarged twice in 2011. In January 2011 Sii was employing 92 people, in November 200th IT engineer joined the team! This dynamic growth makes Sii one of the biggest IT employers on Pomorze.

In July 2011 the Gdansk branch recorded the highest increase in its history! 28 new IT specialists have been employed to work on various project for big Tricity companies in different sectors. Thereby Sii team after four-year-operation reached a number of 150!

Sii's 5th Anniversary

On the 17th January 2011, Sii celebrated its fifth anniversary. After five years of activity, we employ over 400 hundreds employees in four branches: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań and serve around 30 clients in Poland. The opening of a new branch in Cracow is planned later this year.

On the 1st December 2010, Sii specialists conducted workshops for students at the Warsaw University of Technology. The workshops were co-organized by students association BEST and encompassed two one and a half hour meetings. The participants had the opportunity to learn how to build a commercial offer and to discover the basics of using Microsoft Silverlight for business applications. For the students, it was a chance not only to extend their IT knowledge but also to ask questions about Sii and the IT market in Poland.

Sii starts the implementation of a EU project

On the 26th October 2010, Sii signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy regarding a subsidy from the Operational Programme “Innovative Economy”.

Sii joined Oracle Partner Network (OPN) programme as a Gold Partner. The title confirms Sii’s high qualifications and experience which guarantee the highest quality of services. Being an Oracle partner is also an opportunity for Sii engineers to participate in trainings, share knowledge and best practices. It also provides an easier access to the latest Oracle technologies.

New Sii office in Poznań started its activity on the 1st October 2010. Its regional manager is Natalia Buczel who previously held the position of a Key Account Manager in Sii Gdańsk.
Carnival Party 2010

On the 15th January 2010, Sii organized a carnival party for its employees and clients in Belvedere restaurant. We had fun till the dawn with nice music, exquisite food and a funny mime performance. It was also an opportunity to present our company and the most important events in Sii in 2009, as well as to announce the results of the contest for the Engineer of 2009. The winner is Grzegorz Kowalewski whom we would like to congratulate.

Since 1st October 2009, our Warsaw branch functions in a new office in the district of Mokotów (ul. Puławska 14), where it has much more space for its activity and development.

In April 2009, Sii Warsaw was officially separated from the Headquarters, also located in Warsaw. Krzysztof Krężel who has worked for Sii almost since the beginning of its activity (first as an Account Manager, then Key Account Manager and Business Unit Manager) became the Regional Director of Sii Warsaw.

On 1st April 2009, Sii opened its third branch, this time in Wrocław. We start with a small office in Piłsudskiego Street but hope for a fast and long-term development. We already started talks with potential clients and results are soon to be expected.
Integration weekend 2008

Sii Team just came back from the first common integration weekend. We spent 3-5 October 2008 having trainings and a lot of fun in the village of Piaski in Mazury region. We invaded the place with two buses coming from Warsaw and one from Gdańsk. The whole resort was at our disposal, with a billiard room and table football, not to mention beautiful surroundings and a lake 200 m away from our hotel.
